This dwarf plant produces oval-shaped, tangy and sweet fruit that is similar in taste to a mix of pineapple and mango, which can be eaten both unripe and ripe. Plant Care

June plum trees are easy to care for.  They can be grown in the ground or pots with full or partial sun exposure and have low susceptibility to pests and diseases.  They can be grown in a variety of soil mixes as long as it is well-draining.  Just make sure they are shielded from frost.

When you receive your plant, we suggest amending your soil with coco coir or coco perlite to keep your mix fluffy and make the best environment for the roots to establish and grow healthy.

  • Propagation Method: Grown from seed, ready to produce fruit within 1-2 years with proper care.
  • Fertility: Self-fertilizes.
  • Temperature Tolerance: Ideal Minimum: 15 C - Minimum Tolerated (briefly): 5 C

Shipping

Please note that all plants are trimmed/pruned for shipping.  Roots are kept moist with a mixture of coco coir and super-absorbent polymers that can be shaken off for planting.
