This is the ideal growing medium for your monstera plants. This mix uses coco coir that has been pre-buffered and has low EC, which is exactly what you need to create the best environment for your plant, as per the Professor Monstera Method. It works!
- Ingredients: Coco coir + Perlite
- Volume: 2 Liters - 8.5 cups
The coco will capture the necessary amount of nutrient mix and the perlite will provide the perfect amount of drainage to ensure healthy roots and plant. This mix is light and fluffy, giving roots support while draining enough water to essentially eliminate the risk of rot even with daily watering. It does not hold water the same way soil does, and is very popular among rare plant hobbyists.
Other tropical plants like anthuriums, philodendrons, begonias, hoyas, etc. also do well in this mixture.
