If you love lemons but want something a little different, meet the Variegated Eureka Lemon.
This beautiful citrus tree has green and creamy-white leaves that make it stand out even when it's not producing fruit. And the lemons? They're just as interesting! The fruit starts out with green and yellow stripes, eventually ripening to yellow with pink flesh inside.
Just like the classic Eureka, these lemons are juicy, tart, and perfect for cooking, baking, or making fresh lemonade.
Beautiful foliage, delicious lemons, and yes, you can grow it in a container!
Plant Care
Give your Variegated Eureka Lemon plenty of direct sunlight, well-draining soil, and regular feeding during the growing season. Water thoroughly when the top layer of soil starts to dry, and avoid letting the roots sit in soggy soil.
Growing in a cold climate? Bring your tree indoors before temperatures drop and place it under a good grow light or in your sunniest window.
- Propagation Method: Grafted plant. May produce fruit within 1 year with proper care.
- Fertility: Self-fertile. You only need one tree to grow lemons.
