Torch ginger is a tropical perennial with torch-like blooms on tall stalks, known for its striking appearance and uses in floral arrangements. Its large, cone-shaped flower heads are surrounded by drooping bracts, while sturdy leaves grow on upright stems. Thriving in warm, humid climates, it grows rapidly, reaching up to 15 feet in height and width when planted in spring.
Plant Care
You will receive a rhizome which you will need to plant into well-draining soil. Under the right conditions, the plant will put out new growth from the rhizome. Please note that the growth rate for these plants may vary, but once it starts going you will see consistent growth.
