Coconuts, like any other seeds, sprout under optimal conditions. When a coconut sprouts, the coconut water is emulsified and becomes a light fluffy spongy mass that is edible. Yet another gift from nature is this coconut sponge.
Texture & Flavor: It is light and crunchy. It has a savory exterior and a sweet, fluffy interior. You will also find some coconut oil with a buttery texture. This is a true delicacy!
How to eat: Remove the outer husk with a cleaver and then crack the coconut open with the back of the cleaver or a hammer.
Shipping
Please note that the fruit is shipped without the sprout (the leafy green part). Enjoy the essence of sprouted coconuts delivered to your doorstep!
