This little citrus tree produces bright orange, oval-shaped fruits that you can eat whole, peel and all. The skin is surprisingly sweet, while the juicy flesh brings a tart kick. Together, they're the perfect sweet-and-sour snack!

Nordmann is a seedless selection of the popular Nagami kumquat, so you get that same delicious flavour without having to deal with the seeds. Enjoy them fresh off the tree, slice them into salads, add them to drinks, or turn them into homemade marmalade.

With its glossy green leaves, fragrant white flowers, and colourful fruit, this compact evergreen tree is a great choice for growing in containers.

Plant Care

Give your Nordmann Seedless Kumquat plenty of direct sunlight, well-draining soil, and regular feeding during the growing season. Water thoroughly when the top layer of soil starts to dry, and avoid letting the roots sit in soggy soil. During the growing season (spring and summer), feed with a balanced fertilizer. Prune as needed to maintain shape and remove dead branches. Be vigilant against common citrus pests. 

When it starts getting cold outside, bring your tree indoors before temperatures drop below 10C consistently at night and place it under a good grow light or in your sunniest window.

• Propagation Method: Grafted plant. May produce fruit within 1–2 years with proper care.

• Fertility: Self-fertile. A second tree isn't needed for fruit production.
