Coco Chip
Coco Chip
Our premium Coco Chips are washed and ready to use both indoors and outdoors right out of the bag. You can add these chips to all your potting mixes to reduce soil compaction and for better drainage and water retention, so your plants won't go thirsty or drown. You can also use it for mulching.
Coco chips are also an excellent growing medium for orchids, bromeliads, hoyas, and other tropical plants and cuttings that usually grow on tree trunks as they drain well and allow for ample air circulation.
Ingredients:
- 100% loose coco chips
- Volume: 2 Liters - 8.5 cups
- EC: < 0.5 mS/Cm
- pH: 5.4 - 6.8
How to use
To use, mix the wanted amount of coco chips into your potting mix. That amount can vary per type of plant, but for traditional indoor plants, you can add around 30% to your mix.
For orchids and other tropical plants, you can use just the coco chips as your growing medium. For these plants, moisten the coco chips, remove any other growing medium from the roots, and plant it into the coco chips.
