A medium-sized citrus tree with lush foliage that produces the renowned Valencia orange fruit. These oranges are known for their exceptional sweetness and juiciness. The fruit is medium to large in size, with a bright orange rind and vibrant orange flesh. It offers a perfect balance of sweetness and tanginess, making it ideal for fresh consumption, juicing, and various culinary creations.
Plant Care
This plant prefers well-draining soil that is nutrient dense and has good moisture-holding capacity. High nitrogen demands. Provide regular watering throughout flowering and fruiting season. Place the plant in a slightly shady spot.
When you receive your plant, we suggest amending your soil with coco coir or coco perlite to keep your mix fluffy and make the best environment for the roots to establish and grow healthy.
- Propagation Method: Grafted plant, produces fruit within 1 year with proper care.
- Fertility: Self-fertilizes. Better with second plant.
- Temperature Tolerance: Ideal Minimum: 15 C - Minimum Tolerated (briefly): 10 C
Shipping
Please note that all plants are trimmed/pruned for shipping. Roots are wrapped and kept moist with a substrate mix that can be shaken off for planting.
